I have small hands and the grips weren't too big. Great to use in small spaces where an actual rope isn't a good idea. Plus I don't whip my ankles with the rope anymore... ;) Very happy with my purchase!

I was looking for an easy way to get some aerobic exercise and I had tried a similar version of these at my local fitness center. This set works perfectly: I can jump in the house and not worry about hitting the ceiling with the rope or tripping. It really simulates a regular jump rope because of the small weights in the handles and the ball bearing assembly that makes the rope turn very easily. The set comes with a little bag so you can easily pack them in a suitcase.

Okay, it seemed like such a dorky concept, but we actually love this thing (and use it more than a regular jump rope) because it can be used in smaller spaces AND on any surface because there's no rope part to worry about. Same sensation as jumping a regular rope, without the hassles.
