I have a sun room door with no screen and like to keep it open on nice days. I have small dogs so makes it easier for me for them to just go outside to the back yard without me having to open the door for them. Magic Mesh was the only solution for me and keeps out the flying insects, but was very disappointed that just using it a couple of days it started to come apart on the bottom and middle seams where the dogs were going in and out. The mesh on the seams are very weak and come apart if you have pets. I glued the bottom seams with super glue which helped a little but the middle seam not working well. Just saying this product is not pet friendly and won't last long.

Pure junk and NOT as pictured. This is the OLD version (NOT "new and improved"). Contents of the box didn't even contain enough Velcro pieces per included instructions. While fitting it to my door (and trying to remove/replace a piece of the sticky tape) the panel tore with the tape! Disgusted. WASTE OF TIME/MONEY.
I leave my sliding door open all summer so my pets can go in and out whenever they like (I have a fenced-in yard)

The "new and improved" one piece version is much easier to install! I have been using these for 8 years. I leave my sliding door open all summer so my pets can go in and out whenever they like (I have a fenced-in yard). The screen works as advertised. Both cats and large dogs can easily exit and enter and the magnets really do close automatically preventing insects from entering my home. I have had to use the enclosed tacks, in addition to the velcro, to ensure that the screen stays up. I have found that the velcro alone does not hold for very long. But I have 3 cats and 2 dogs so there's a lot of traffic in and out of my house.

tis is thesecond year we have used this screen. Love it!!makes letting dogs in and out a breeze. unfortunatly our 10 month ld spaniel pup has chewed up both of the. sad to say.. could have been a great bug free summer.
