Roughly a month after I bought these headphones the microphone/volume control became unresponsive. I was very cautious with these because I saw a few other reviews questioning their long-term durability, but they broke anyway. Within 24hrs of leaving a review here Symphonized reached out to me and sent me a replacement pair. They claimed that the initial pair must have been defective. I've been using the replacement pair for a few days and haven't had any issues thus far. I love the style of these headphones and the sound quality is great for the price, so I hope my first pair was indeed defective. If the durability is there, then this is definitely a 5 star product.

These sound remarkably good for the price; technology must be improving since the last time I bought earbuds. Also very pretty, with the wood bodies, and they have pleasant fabric-cased cords.
I like noise-blocking earbuds better than headphones for use outside the home, since they're so much smaller to carry. Also cheaper than noise-canceling headphones. And finally, in extreme environments I can put noise-blocking muffs *over* the earbuds if necessary.

Ha! I love these things! I'm as much of an audiophile as I can afford to be, which isn't saying much! But I have a decent stereo at home. When I don't want to bug the neighbors I listen to headphones; a decent set of open back over the ear headphones. Oh, and then there the Apple EarPods (ugh). I only use those for actual phone calls as I can't stand listening to music through them. After reading reviews here for Symphonized NRG 3.0, I had to double check the price. Yeah, $25! What do I have to lose? Worst case scenario they could be a backup set. Well, got them out of the box about half an hour ago, and went at some music listening. Hmmm. Sound is subjective. Everyone has a different 'sound' we prefer for our music. I didn't care for this sound at all; I thought these simply weren't for me. Oh, well, maybe a 4 star review for being $25. But then I remembered a reviewer recommending finding the right eq setting for these. I tried each eq setting until....nailed it! EarPods are now backups. Emergency backups. Good noise isolation, great sound, $25. Yeah, buy a pair!

I absolutely destroy my earbuds, before these the longest lasting pair I had were apple earbuds at 1 year. But they started shorting and I also got tired of not having full controls (android phone).
These look great, the sound is great, they are durable and rugged, the cord length is nice. The cord doesn't seem to get easily tangled. So far I haven't had any hints of shorting or suggestions that it's going to fall apart on me. Great earbuds, I definitely recommend them.

They sound really good, the bass is relatively powerful compared to all of the earbuds I've tried and the sound is pretty crisp. The buds don't volunteer themselves to come off of the actual speaker like most earbuds, even when I'm rough with them and yank them out of my bag. I tend to lose the rubber padding things a lot with other earbuds so that's really useful. I haven't personally heard the microphone but I make a lot of calls and voice recordings and I've never had any complaints. I've got a lot of compliments on the wood too, but I'm personally not big on the coloration of the wire. It would be nice to have a solid gray option or something. Maybe it would be useful if you wanted multiple pairs in the same space? Like for your family or something. One time when I plugged them in I got a lot of scraping noises from the headphone jack but it was probably due to something being in the jack and not the headphones themselves. All button controls work on Android too so that's really nice. You know a good feature I think all headphones should have? Along with volume and playback control they should have the ability to skip songs, I don't know if that's possible but it'd be really useful. I haven't had them for long so I couldn't tell you how durable they are, but they feel very solidly built and I'm really happy with them so far.
