Quicker and easier than the stove top version, and a heck of a lot less expensive than full size espresso machine. It took a bit to get the grind just right when buying whole bean coffee for it, since I had to rely on the supermarket grinder to give me the right grind consistency. Since purchasing my own grinder, I've been super happy with this little pot, and prefer the coffee it makes to anything I could purchase at Starbucks. Quality seems good, and I have had no issues with it once I got the grind right.

This little coffee maker is just what I needed for the office. It makes a personal amount of Cuban style, or espresso, coffee in just a few minutes. Cleanup is pretty simple. It's electric ( not stove-top ) which makes using it simple to use outside a kitchen. The enclosed coffee blend is a nice touch, and actually rather good, but it also works great with 100% Colombian beans with an espresso ( fine ) grind. If you don't want to get a grinder for your favorite beans, then getting more of the enclosed Bustelo blend is certainly a reasonable option. There are no filters to purchase, the strainers are built into the coffee maker. The coffee maker takes up little space for storage so it doesn't need to sit on the counter all day.
