The first bottle I purchased contained fox urine and it seemed to be a little more effective, but the newer ones, without the urine, are far less effective. I've added cayenne pepper oil, rosemary oil, distilled white vinegar, and extra peppermint oil to mine to have something that works better at repelling rodents. I'm disappointed in this product and feel I shouldn't have to doctor it up to have a working product---I should get a purchased product that works as it is.
I'm not concerned with the squirrels---the mice and rats are my biggest concern. This product no longer helps.

No Summer Tomatoes!

The order arrived with no problems, no leakage and very quickly. I had high hopes in that this product would save my tomatoes from the squirrels that were stealing them off my plants. I had 100 tomatoes on the plants, used this product 3 times a day around the wooden fencing the squirrels were using to get to my plants. Unfortunately by the end of the week, the product did not stop them and all my tomatoes were gone. The last two days out of desperation I began spraying the product directly on the plants as well. The spray did not hurt my plants which was a plus, just wish it would have kept them from stealing all my fruit. I was trying to be humane about protecting my plants and the fruit, but it did not work.

product worked well but you have to reapply it after it rain, when we first sprayed the area we didn't see the squires or the raccoon, we were very excited, but after a thunder storm the little buggers were right back forging through our garbage cans again, we have replaced our cans several times and each time they chew them up like they were made out of paper, this product stop the activity for awhile, we are going to order more and keep a supply for after the rainy season or whenever it rains.

So far so good with this product. I am using it to discourage the squirrels from chewing on my tulip bulbs and new growth on a low bush in the garden. I got tulips to bloom and the bush is growing. I am also spraying around the area where I have the bird feeder with suet squares. While the squirrels need to climb quite high to reach the bird food they somehow are able to do it. I have also sprayed the pole. I will see if it works. The only problem with the product is that it must be applied again after any kind of rain. And with spring here, it rains a lot. It might work very well for inside as you won't have to keep reapplying it.

This works well and is naturally nice-smelling to us humans. It doesn't last a long time, which means that you do need to reapply it every day to stop animals from coming back. However, I'm happy that it has worked when applied every day.
