There isn't a lot of yarn on each of these small skeins but it is perfect for my 10 year old granddaughter who is just learning to knit. The colors are beautiful and bright and she was so excited to get this for Christmas!She wanted to go right home and start knitting!Recommend if you have projects that do not require a lot of yarn

ACRYLIC yarn, not cotton. They don't show the label (ball band) in the picture. They say cotton yarn, but it is 100% acrylic. Sending it back.

They were smaller than I expected them to be, but you get a lot of colors for a pretty good price. Wouldn't buy the same thing again, but I can work with what I received. Yarn isn't the softest, but it seems durable and isn't rough or scratchy feeling.

I don't knit, but I did use this yarn for making bracelets. I normally use a 6 strand yarn that makes up 1 string, however this yarn uses 4 strands to make up 1 string of yarn, therefore it's thinner. So I just had to be a little gentle when tugging at the strings. Otherwise this yarn is great and the colors are very vibrant!
