Despite bad reviews, my unit did not fall apart. It is still strong. I had problems at first using the wrong bulbs that kept flickering. Just make sure your bulbs are non-flickering type and not dimmable. This light socket does NOT accept dimmable bulbs, so if you are getting flickering, maybe it's the freaking bulb and stop harassing the makers of the product here, cuz you are so clueless and using the wrong bulbs OR you like to harass people for no reason"¦
