We taught our daughter (under 2) colors with this toy. She sets it down on her colored puzzle mats and matched the color of the toy to the color of the mat. I also set it to red and use it to give her medicine at night so it doesn't ruin her night vision and hurt her eyes like normal lights. This is durable and great, she really loves the remote control too and so far she hasn't destroyed it yet.
Indoor or outdoor, so many options for colors, everyone enjoys it.

This product was a delight - for less than two weeks. Then it started changing the light colors and brightness all by itself. This was bad because we were using them as night lights in childrens' bedrooms. Even more sad, because we ordered a second one before the malfunction started. They both lost their minds simultaneously and we are very disappointed and now have to return them..

I love stuff like this, so it was right up my alley. Glad I discovered it here on Amazon as I was not looking for such a nice and fun lamp. I was looking for something like a small boring desk lamp for my bedside. I like everything about this cute cube; having control over brightness, colors and even having the color changes and speed with an easy to operate remote. Next party, it'll be shown off. But for now, it fits perfectly where I need it for a low light. Or higher, but not obnoxious light. My choice and I love it! So happy I bumped into the light cube.

Excellent customer service--first unit was defective (wouldn't hold a charge) and they sent me out another one as soon as I contacted them. Second one works perfectly and they even updated the power button so it "clicks" now, which I think is better because it gives you tactile feedback that the button was pressed. It's a modern, stylish nightlight with many colors/color changing patterns. Also has a great remote that lets you adjust the brightness as well. Comes with a charger that plugs into the wall and has a nice feature: the LED on the charger changes from red to green when the light is fully charged. And waterproof to boot! What's not to like?
