Nice product, my birds love it. My only concern, and the reason for the 4 stars, is that it had a VERY strong scent. It reminded me of a fresh (potent) bag of gardening soil. I don't know how else to describe it. It wasn't shipped with anything else that had this scent. I was actually a little nervous to put it in the cage so I let it sit out for a long time before I put it in there. Great price, and good size...just give it a whiff first. ;-)

Edit 4 days later - My Conure still loves this toy the best out of everything that we bought her. She is on it constantly, even sleeps on it. Best $9.99 we ever spent! She plays with the bell, hangs upside down on the rope, and climbs up and down the rope.

My parakeets love these! They climb up and down to get from the perch to the top of the toys, or down to their food. They rest on them. They pick at them. Obviously, they are much shorter than 43" when they're coiled, but you can change the coiling. Mine are about 2' from the top of the hanger to the bottom of the bell.

We are very happy we bought this rope toy. Our bird really enjoys sitting and playing with it- I think he loves the "bungee" bouncing feeling.
He is a chewer, so we keep our eyes on loose threads. We just trim it so his feet won't get stuck.
