A lot of uses for a little gem of a pan

I love this mini pie pans. They are great for fruit, veggies, potatoes, and meat pies. I can cover them with biscuits, pie crust, bread crumbs, etc. Great variety of uses.plus you don't have to wash them. Just thow away in the recycle bin!

I got these to satisfy a homemade peach pie craving. They did not disappoint! I anticipated the general flimsy nature of tin pie pans, fearing they would not allow me to achieve an even bake from proper heat dispersion like glass ones would.
....They were perfect though! I made 6 pies to try them out, and ended up making 6 more the next night because they were so good! This is much, much easier than making mini pies in a cupcake pan. Just don't forget to oil them well. Depending on the appetite of the person, these pies are also a great option for sharing with a friend for a...healthier portion size.
Let's be real though, if you're buying these, it's because you love pie, and sharing would be an egregious error. If that's the case, then know they were definitely personal pie tins, because that's how I ate them.

This morning my husband made blueberry pies, when he went to take them out of the oven the tin was too flimsy to remove with a hot pad. He had to use a spatula to remove them from the baking surface. Other than that they were useful. The size made a nice serving for two to share or one hungry person.

These pans are good quality. They are smaller than I expected. The 5 inches is the measurement of the widest part of the pie pan not the base as I was thinking. Still a great buy. I'd say they are a small individual pot pie size. They would be great for desserts.
