Highly Recommend This To Anyone

I love it, easy to work with if you know what you're doing or get another person to help you install it for a beginner, I did my back patio door because the sun always beats down on it an heats up my living room, the photos show you one window done and the other not, then shows you both done from the inside and outside, with the mirror tint such a huge difference in temperature in my home, I love the privacy so much I'm gonna do all my house windows ðŸ‘ðŸ‘
Bubbles unavoidable along manufacture’s edge

Cutting and peeling this product is very easy. I used Gila's film installation kit ($9-Amazon) which includes spray, squeegee, lint free paper towel piece and a nice carving razor.
Make sure window is very clean, then wet window with Gila or other recommended solution With the same amount of spray you would normally use to clean the window.
This product sticks well when wet. I found many YouTube videos that were helpful with the squeegee procedure.
If you are OCD, like me, I don't like any bubbles but bubbles are unavoidable along the manufactures cut edge due to the extremely tight rolling of the product on the cardboard tube. If the cardboard tube was larger in diameter there would be less creases on the product when it is rolled by the manufacture. These creases create per minute and subtle ridges , Then when placed on a window will not securely fit to the window surface and leave a slight bubble. If you choose this product I would recommend not using the manufacturers cut edge as The edge to your desired cut.
Also it is difficult to trim even with the sharpest of razors without pulling or tearing in window corners where the product has a 90° angle into the corner of your window.

Total privacy!

This is exactly what I needed! The film creates total privacy while still allowing light in. I keep my plants on my kitchen window sill but the window faces into my neighbors windows. I was tired of always having to take the plants on and off the sill when I wanted privacy. This did the trick! It looks exactly like an obscure window. The film is easy to install, however it did not come with a squeegee. You also need a sharp exacto knife or razor blade. Use a new blade for the sharpest cut. It says to use a spray bottle to wet the window, but I just wet it with a sponge and it turned out great. Just be sure to really wet it (after you clean the window real good). Cut the film an inch larger than your window, and don't worry about it being perfect since you will actually apply it oversized, then use the knife to cut it to size while it's on the window. I did 2 windows and found that it's easier to place the top side with no overlap, then cut the other 3 sides..so I used the factory cut side to line up at the top since it's a perfectly straight cut. Smooth out the film til the edges, then cut each side. It helps to hold the film taut as you cut. I'd cut a side, smooth out bubbles, then move on to the next side. So happy with this!
Very easy to install

Very easy to install, 1 person could do it, just takes a little patience getting it on straight. A squeegee is good to have but I used a plastic paint scraper to get out the air bubbles and that worked great. Once it was up and de-bubbled, I dried it and within an hour, the residue water dried and it looked great, instant privacy. I would recommend this window film if you want privacy glass. Only drawback is I can't see out either.
Great value, easy to apply and cut, window to whiteboard solution.

For the price I have no serious complaints. It was easy to apply and it clings enough with the backing left in tact you can play with the layout until you're ready to hang (although the strip is not a geometrically perfect rectangle, so if you're particularly OCD, this may frustrate you).
I affixed this to the outside of my office window, the single strip alone does little for privacy, however, I was more interested in being able to whiteboard on the glass inside (transparency markers work great directly on the class, clean up with a damp cloth, and are vivid against the frosted background). I hand cut our logo on the end with a ruler and xacto knife and it cut very nicely and precisely.
Note that for this to work the film has to be on the opposite side of the glass you wish to write upon. I'm not writing on the film.
Waaaay cheaper than the "real" frost applications on our conference room doors which cost hundreds of dollars.
Unsure as yet durability.
