I have a knee replacement scheduled for later this summer. My knee is pretty much a disaster area right now, and extremely uncomfortable. I've tried all sorts of knee braces, but these are the ones that are just bang on. I find myself wearing them for very long parts of the day, and are the first ones that have helped lessen the extremely uncomfortable situation I'm having with a wreck of a knee. So it was a pleasant surprise to get something that actually helps. Good product. Regarding size, I was right on the borderline between medium and large, and so went for the large. I think bigger is better for these kinds of braces. Good luck to anyone who ends up needing this stuff like I am.

Pros: They are great sleeves for the most part. I bought the XL and they tend to slip down during a good workout and I need to pull them up periodically. I wish they were about 3-4 inches longer. Otherwise they are excellent. I don't over heat like I do with neoprene. These are not for heavy lifting days and I use them for light days with high activity. They also do double duty as arm sleeves after a workout when your arms are full. I have a pair of the matching arm sleeves, which I credit with clearing up a nasty case of tennis elbow, not from tennis but from weight lifting. I work nights and am on my feet most of my shift, and am recoverng from a broken knee cap. I'm a Small, 5' 8" and 135lbs... so I got a Small in these and they fit perfectly. They have excellent compression.... a bit on the tight side - what I wanted and they work beautifully during my kickboxing and strength training classes. I do get this wonderful feeling of lift when I step up and when I do squats! They neither shift nor roll at all so I highly recommend!
