Clover bigger hooks

I ordered these hooks when I bought a couple of patterns using bulky yarn & larger hooks. I own Clover ergonomic hook set for my crochet needs & love the Clover brand hooks, so when needed larger hooks, I went looking for Clover brand.
I have seen reviews taking isdue with the larger hooks being plastic vs metal. Other brands also use plastic for these sizes, so no other option out there.
I love these hooks & have not really seen a huge difference from my other Clover hooks. The only time I've noticed a lag with yarn sliding over hook is when foing a treble stitch & to be honest, it doesn't really slow me down much.
I've only used the K & L hooks so far, but I've been plesantly surprised at how easy it is to use these larger hooks. They are lightweight, easy to hold, & much better gliding yarn over them than I expected.
I sppreciate Clover finding a cost effective, good quality hook when people started asking for larger sized hooks; they could have opted to remain with the superior hooks in their line & opted not to venture into the larger hook sizes. I am glad they opted to acommodate their customers request & delivered the best product they could develop, kerping comfort and affordability in mind
