I stressed about the high price and if a 40 lb bag of dog food would fit. I filled it with room to spare with a 40 pound bag of Diamond Naturals small kibble dog food. I'm very happy with this purchase as it fits nicely next to my refrigerator and keeps the dogs out of it because of its locking top and fairly thick plastic. It's still rather a high priced item, but it works and fits my large bag of dog food well.

I have two of these because my dogs both have different diets. This is slim so it fits anywhere and I love that the scoop fits in the lid. It holds one huge bag of dog food and closes securely, even the most intelligent dogs cant get this open.

The reason I gave it a 4.5 is that I thought it would be totally white but the body of it is an opaque clear. Otherwise it's a great item, very sturdy and well made. It holds about 50 lbs of dog food and is very easy to pull out from under the counter. It's also super airtight.

This is the best container I have ever found for storing food for my dogs. It is on rollers so moving 50# of food is a breeze. It is airtight. Lid snaps down securely. Has 2 ways to open if you only need a small amount (I wish), the top opens completely for a large scoop (bought mine at Dollar Tree).
