Nice painting, came out looking good

In my opinion, this company has some of the best images and quality of canvas in the DIY market, as well as quality paint, nice and thick.
Whether framed or unframed...if unframed they are only folded twice to fit into box, and iron out with steam iron very readily.
Will definitely keep shopping them.

the canvas comes FOLDED, and the folds do not come out.. so even though I tried to Stretch it on a canvas frame, it still isn't straight. If it were Rolled... I would give this 5 stars, because the picture is nice, colors vivid and directions and parts really nicely set up to paint by number!

Some shortcomings: several areas are a lightly shaded gray and the paint used for those is light yellow and difficult to fully cover. Many areas took several coats of paint to cover the numbers. Larger areas + multiple coats = need for additional paint, in my case, four different colors. I ended up buying the unframed version also just to get the paints to complete the painting. The provided brushes weren't equal to the task, but it was easy to locate replacement brushes. Still, the completed picture is unique, and the abstract simplicity of the picture was forgiving for a novice. The framed option means the canvas is stretched over a pine frame. Tip for the framed version: when you complete your painting and want to put an actual frame around it for display, keep in mind the depth of the pine under-frame - most reasonably priced frames will not be deep enough. Amazon has one frame that's front- loading that works: "MCS 40004 16x20 Black Frame to Mount Finished Canvas". Keep in mind also that the stretched canvas is slightly smaller than 16x20 and the areas you'll paint will wrap around the sides of the stretcher frame.

The picture itself is beautiful. But the instruction set really needs improvement. Some number grids cannot be fully covered by paint.
