Do not buy these straps. We have been moving and wanted to have a few extra ratchet straps so against my husband's opinion we bought straps on Amazon and worst decision ever. Before we used these straps we used some from our local hardware store to transport our 800 four wheeler with no problems and decided to use these straps to tie down some outdoor chairs. We tied them down fine and got on the road and not even 5 minutes into our trip heard a big pop and saw that one of the straps had busted off. The ratchet part had completely fell apart and the strap had broken as well. We tied it to the trailer just so we could get it to our destination just for it to fully break and we had to stop again. Then we just winged it since we were only going 20 minutes down the road. Needless to say we will not be purchasing straps here again. You're better off getting straps at your local hardware store and paying more just to have piece of mind that your stuff won't be left on the side of the highway!

I've had these in continuous outdoor use to hold a tree (a rather large tree for that job, in fact... about 8" diameter) upright after a crazy wind storm that blew it over about 10 degrees. They're only now starting to show any signs of corrosion, the mechanisms still work, and they're still singing tight. I've only used 2 of them for that purpose and have been using the other 2 for general use and have almost nothing bad to say about them. My only complaint, which I just recently discovered, is that the strap end connected to the ratchet is just slightly too short to get around the tie down rails in a U Haul truck, which is not a problem I've had with other straps I've owned for years (but IS a problem with other straps I've recently purchased). If they made them about 3" longer, this would be the perfect light duty strap for all uses and be my new go to. Due to that one limitation, I can't give them 5 stars and I will continue to call the straps I've had for 15 years my "favorites". I'd like to replace those old straps just out of age, but sadly I haven't found perfection again yet, but these are very close.

I would also prefer the seller not bundle the bungee straps that I don't need and knock the price down a buck, or add the $0.50 of material to the strap to make them perfect and leave the selling price alone.

That said... during my recent move when I figured out these won't fit U Haul rails very well, I elected to buy a bunch more straps from a different manufacturer to say a couple of dollars and boy was that a mistake. At this price point, the most current direct competitor to these straps on Amazon are the "Keeper 05506 15' x 1" Ratcheting Tie-Down with Padded Handles" and these straps are vastly superior. If I didn't NEED the straps to move pretty much the day they arrived I would have returned them and bought more of the blue ones.

Just bought a pickup truck. So obviously the first thing I had to do was help someone move... These worked great! I've used ratchet tie downs in the past that are a pain in the butt. These are easy to tighten and release and they hold very well.
I tied down a bed, bed frame, headboard, and a large tv entertainment chest in my truck. Just for fun, and to annoy my gf, I took a rough way home. Nothing budged. 10/10 would buy again.

This product suits my needs perfectly. It is more heavy duty than I was expecting after reading some reviews. The corners that helps you to keep a box or rectangle straight are constructed very well. The ratcheting actions seems strong. I will fight and if I need more of these.

I probably should have ordered a second pack (4 in each pack plus 2 bungies) but they sure did the job for me and my brother! Work SO much better than rope. No tying...just ratchet them tight. Covered a lot of stuff in the moving van. Totally recommend this product. Oh, and the price was right!
