I bought this jack so I can do work on my Nissan Altima . It took me 2 hours just to change 2 tires on my car because this jack takes a long time to lift the car and sometimes it gets stuck where it won't even lift the car .. I finally gave up half way working on my car because of this jack and ended up putting it back in the box and sending it back. You are better off using your car jack that came with your vehicle because it's going to take you a long..... time to change a tire since you are going to spend most of the time fighting to pump the lever on the jack to lift the car .Another thing I like to add is I didn't feel safe with how the jack sounded when my car was lifted. It sounds like it's going to give out.
Only problem I have it dose lift the car high enough but for simple jobs where you dont need the wheel completely of the ground like change the oil this is

I bought this for 2 reasons, the case and the price...and originally I thought the listing said 3 ton jack instead of 3000 lb. I used this jack 3 times, and all 3 times one side/wheel of the jack raised off the ground and looked like it might tip over and make the car fall. The base just doesn't seem sturdy, the jack is very narrow. 2 of the cars I used the jack on were a dodge charger and a Chevy Malibu, both which took a lot of effort to get off the ground. The dodge charger actually did fall off the jack, but I don't blame the jack entirely since I didn't have wheel chocks in place, but the jack got bent slightly when the car fell on it. The case is very thin plastic and will break easily as others have pointed out. I decided to scrap this jack and buy a low profile, 3 ton wide base jack that I found on sale on Amazon for $100 instead.
The best inexpensive trolley jack out there

This works very well on my BMW 328I which has a curb weight of around 3800 lbs. The BMW is really low to the ground and this just barely fits under carriage. If you have a car that is super low to the ground, I suggest taking the front wheels off the trolley.
Also, I read in some of the reviews that you can slowly let the car down when releasing the pressure. I was able to do it nice and slow and the trick is to open the valve screw very slowly.
