I'm an Olive Oil eater. I eat it on salads and potatoes etc.. I bought these capsules for times when I wasn't going to have an entree that complimented olive oil, but I still wanted the benefits of it. I never get heart burn from olive oil in the standard cooking bottles from the store. I buy those in extra virgin, too. These capsules are a good idea. BUT, they gave me HEART BURN within a half an hour, and it has lasted many hours. They are likely a low quality Olive Oil, or maybe a mixture with another lesser quality oil. Also, when you cut them open to taste the oil, it does not taste strongly of extra virgin at all. So, I can only conclude that they are not very good quality. I will not buy them again.
