Best sonic I own.

Best sonic screwdriver I own. I have the ninth, tenth, and the eleventh doctors screwdrivers, and this one has been the best so far. It has a good weight to it and has all the same functions as the one on the show. It is also the largest out of all of my other screwdrivers as well. I love that it has four different functions including two different colored lights and four different sounds. I would recommend to any fellow Doctor Who fan or anyone dressing up as the Twelfth Doctor wanting a realistic show replica.

Yes, it's a toy, but the manufacturer does a good job of making it seem as if it isn't entirely cheap plastic. Replaceable batteries are a rarity in this market, but this one is nice and accessible via a small allen wrench. Makes several sounds depending on how many times you slide the trigger up and down, nice and loud. Neat design this time too (although that credit should go to Doctor Who designers). What else can I say? You'd probably only be compelled to buy this if you are a fan of the show, and the manufacturer did a nice job again.

Let's start this review off with the fact that it has four modes. That is probably the coolest thing I have seen in a Sonic Screwdriver to this day. Unfortunately, it doesn't have any kind of extending function, but it doesn't have one in the actual show. Now we'll talk about pricing. If you want to buy this, Amazon is the place to go. It's usually $30, but Amazon(or River Colony Trading, depending on who fulfills the toy) sells it for $25. While I am annoyed about shipping(the package arrived about 12 hours late), it isn't really relevant to the toy itself. Still haven't opened the battery compartment yet because the instructions have failed to... instruct me... I probably should've worded that better. OVERALL: It's a fun replica of the new sonic, affordable, and has four modes. However it feels a bit clunky and it's kinda loud. 5 stars.
Perfection in its' Whovian form

I recently got this for Christmas, and I must say, it's the best sonic yet.
It has four functions:
1. Solid green. Press switch up once to get this effect.
2. Fading green. Press switch up twice for this effect.
3. Solid blue. Press switch down for this effect.
4. Chase mode. The blue light goes around the top several times. Press switch down twice for this effect.
Do not ask me how the battery compartment works. I've tried and it still won't work.
I think that this sonic has the best grip to it yet. I can toss it in the air, and it'll land right back down like it came up. It's perfection in its whovian form.

This is just awesome for any Whovian! 4 different light/sound effects when activated. Feels comfortable in hand. Love the colors. Love that the top resembles the TARDIS. Comes with batteries! Similar to watch/hearing aid size batteries. Delivered earlier than expected, so made me even more nerdy happy!! Would recommend product and seller.
