This charging station is excellent for holding different devices, readers, and various controllers. I don't keep the charger inside the allotted space because I think it may overheat in an enclosed space with one side of the charger against a felt-like flat. But I do have my charger's wire/cable threaded through the back of the unit and to the side for charging devices; However, the charger is in a three-outlet surge protector. Regardless, this does not diminish the utility of the EasyAcc. I've managed to clear the top of my nightstand, it's in my bedroom, of several pair of readers, a Kindle Fire, and lighting remote control; and I've more space for addition devices I've yet to take on.
The device is sturdy, actually on the heavy side; i.e., it's not about to move unless I choose to move it. And the section that fits atop what is the designated charger compartment has a magnetic perimeter, which securely attaches to the bottom section by way of magnetic contacts. The device charger station/storage unit has a small footprint, yet holds many devices. I like mine so much that I ordered another for a family member.
The EasyAcc will rid a nightstand or table of many strewn about devices and controllers. Great job to the folks at EasyAcc!

I would give this item 0 stars, the stand is falling apart right out of the box, and it's not defective, it's just very low-quality product.

Great product for organizing/charging tablets, etc. I use this as a charging station for a chrome book, iphone, fitbit HR watch, a photive bluetooth speaker and two kindle fire tablets. All of these devices fit on this stand, at the same time, except the speaker, which sits in front of the stand. happy to purchase this since it had become hard for me to charge and keep track of everything - utilizing chargers plugged into different outlets, scattered throughout the house:(
**The charger and USB cables must be purchased separately. I bought a RAVpower 60W 12A 6 - port USB desktop charger (which fit perfectly within the charging station) and Sabrent 22AWG premium 1 ft Micro USB cables - wish I had purchased longer cables. I also use this station to store the above items when not in use.
Oh and by the way - well made with nice quality material. My boyfriend liked it so much - he had me buy him a smaller one for his birthday, that he uses to organize/charge his iphone, tablet and speaker.

Great look, but don't get the RavPower 6-Port charger; it's too tall for the valet.

While this touts itself as a Ravpower compatible, the 6-port Ravpower charging port is actually too tall (when laid flat) for this valet charging station. The Ravpower 6-port is 2.72" tall, and the bevel actually makes it so the magnetic sorting top part does not lay flat. The actual section for the hub is only 2.7" tall. (See attached image.) It does not magnetize down level when laid atop the charger.
It's a great-looking valet, and the magnetized top is strong. We ended up getting a Ravpower 4-port, which is only 2.2" tall and it works fine.
