Biggest problem is phone holder is to small. To use I need to take android phone out of protective case to fit & is difficult to fit phone then.
I wouldn't recommend for anything but a small iPhone.

Works exactly as I hoped. Solid build to it and holds firmly to devices. The only recommendation I would suggest is to include a plastic cap for the spike. I'm hesitant to put this in my bag with the fear that the spike will punch a hole in my bag. In the mean time it rides up top with the clubs which works well too. The screws and tree mount were pointless to me, went straight in the trash. I can't think of a reason why someone would buy this device for that purpose.

I needed something to mount my phone on a tripod and this works perfectly. I could use a small video camera but many phone apps for analyzing golf swings integrate the phone's camera into the process so the phone is needed.
