This bed is an offer in compromises. The main reason I bought it is because it's a single piece bed that supports a king-sized mattress. Every other vendor required two twin-xl foundations for king mattresses. This effectively doubles the cost of everything.

Pros:
1. very inexpensive
2. seems to work okay
3. supports a king mattress without buying a second base unit

Cons:
1. Freakin' heavy. I mean, crazy heavy. It's every bit of the 200 pounds that is advertised. It was difficult to move; especially after it's fully assembled because it's so large and unwieldy.
2. The fit and finish is sub-par. I had to use a pipe wrench to get one of the legs screwed on because it wasn't threaded correctly at the factory.
3. The USB ports are practically unusable if you have any kind of legit bed frame around this base.
4. It's not a "wall hugger". I can't expect much for the price, but it's annoying that when I put it in TV-mode, it moves me so far forward, that I can no longer reach the nightstand. Drinks, light, remotes, etc. are all out of reach. Fancier models will let you sit up but they keep you in the same spot so you can still reach things.
5. Not 100% confident in the safety. I could see a situation where a kid or pet would get under the elevated base. The frame is very heavy and the hydraulic arm is very powerful. There doesn't seem to be any safety feature on this; like you would find on a garage door, or those self-closing minivan doors.
6. The remote is the ABSOULUTE WORST!. They should fire the guy that made it and offer every customer a new one. It's a black remote with black plastic buttons and dark brown text. The buttons don't light up, or glow or anything. It's practically unreadable even in moderate lighting. Complete garbage. My $50 DVD player has a better remote than this.

Final verdict: This item has a lot of shortcomings, but it offers a basic, no frills adjustable bed. If I had any sized mattress other than a king, I would have spent a couple hundred dollars more and bought something better. However, because it's super cheap, and because the next best alternative would be 2x to 3x the cost, I suppose it's worth it for me.

We have purchased two and use side by side. Bad part is the usb chargers are on the right side so one of us doesn't get to use theirs. Other than that no complaints whatsoever. Both work as expected. We didn't expect a massage option for upper and/or lower body but it has that and works great. We have had these a few months with no problems besides wishing we had a choice which side we could have usb controls on. We are using the lowest legs. If you raise the bed with remote it isn't hard to clean under FYI

Amazing. We were store shopping and it was over $3000 for an adjustable base. We both have health issues and desperately wanted one. We came home and went to our go to place for price comparisons and found this. Couldn't believe the price. Must admit ordered with a little trepidation about quality. It is amazing. In Love with it. Had it a few months now. Top quality, more, far more than we expected and so, so comfortable. Bought a top quality matters from Sam's club to go with it. It is one for an adjustable base. Amazed the difference this has made to our lives. Don't hesitate

Bought this after the price was lowered - apparently just lowered for awhile.
This went together easily and fit perfectly inside my bed sides.
There are 3 different sets of leg lengths.
Everything works great - all functions. I'm surprised this complicated device was so easy to assemble and worked perfectly right out of the box. Nice engineering there!
Okay, so I would change the remote to have lighted functions. Hard to see the functions even in daytime lighting.
Overall I am really satisfied with this product!

I got the twin XL size. It was easy to assemble and feels very solid. I like that the motors are quiet. It was a bit tricky to get the 114 pound box upstairs by myself, but it was worth it. I'm using it with a mattress from Tuft & Needle, and they make a great combination. Tip: If you put two Twin XL beds right next to each other, you get a split king.

I really like that I can program the remote to adjust the bed to my favorite settings.

I wish the bed had built in controls as a backup in case the remote ever gets lost. And the instructions could be a little bit clearer. Otherwise, I'm super satisfied.
