Broke in under 2 months!

I purchased this on March 11 and it worked great until last week. We made sure there were no obstructions as that seemed to be an issue for some other people but that didn't help either. The base will not raise smoothly for the head or foot portion of the bed and makes a ticking noise while jerking up slowly. If we use any other pre-settings on the remote, it raises and lowers fine. Also, when we turn on the massage feature, it can't be turned off without unplugging the unit to reset it. We have replaced the batteries in the remote 2 times as we thought maybe this was a problem but no luck. This was way too expensive of a product to break after 2 months use. I am very disappointed. I emailed support and am hoping I hear back from them soon. I will update this review based on the feedback they offer. I have included a short video of what is happening and if you listen closely, you can hear the ticking noise I am talking about. In the video, we show each feature being used and you can clearly see that moving the head and foot portions up is a challenge to say the least. The other functions on the remote work except this time, the TV/PC function wouldn't work at all.
***Updated Review-May 27, 2017. I was contacted immediately after leaving this review and was sent a new control box and remote. The box is different than the original but so far so good. Customer service was excellent so I am adjusting my review to 5/5.

Remote did not work at first!

When my adult children put the bed together, it did not work! They checked wires here and checked wires there! It seemed that there was no way that it was getting electricity as the remote would do nothing. All the appropriate green lights were on, even the USB Port! Later after giving up for awhile, my son checked a You Tube Video and the remote had to be "Paired!" No where in the instructions was this mentioned! Thanks to his tenacity, the bed is now working properly!
Terrible Quality

The middle legs are bended, even if I try to correct them, and the head part, when is "flat" is lower than the foot part. Worst part is that after 2 weeks, they lower the price for more than 200 dollars!!!!!
Broke in only 2 weeks of very light use.

The assembly was pretty easy but this thing is heavy! I have the queen size and I had a really hard time flipping this over once I had it assembled. I really suggest have someone to help but then I am a tiny, older woman so maybe it's just me. Do be careful to pay attention to the labels on the motors as the head and the foot motor are different. They are labeled but it's small print. Other than that, assembly was really fast and easy. And you may have to hit the red, reset button if it does not power up. I recommend doing that before you flip this thing over. I did not and had to craw
under the bed to hit it.
So far, I love it! It's very comfortable. I can adjust it just about anyway I could want. I do wish I could make it just a bit higher though. The legs come in three parts that you can unscrew to make them shorter but, even with all three parts together, it's a little low to the ground. Other than that I have no complaints about this bed at all.
I think this is an awesome buy and I highly recommend. If I have problems later I will update but so far, so great!
UPDATE: 4/17/17 I changed from 5 starts to 1 because it broke in only weeks. I'm only 120 pounds and spent only 8 nights on it. Now when I try to adjust the head or foot it jerks like crazy. I don't know if its the bed or the remote but it should last a lot longer than 2 weeks. Amazon is sending a replacement but that is a whole lot of effort for me to take down the one I have and put together a new one. And I'm afraid the new one won't last.

Food for thought.

So I have years of experience with adjustable beds and I had to order this cheaper version because I just did not have the money to purchase a Leggett & Platt which I ordered years ago through Amazon. Leggett & Platt makes the best quality long lasting adjustable bed bases. This one is manufactured extremely cheap. The very day that it arrived I put it together and it was defective. I spent 20 hours taking it apart and putting it together just to be sure I was not wrong, plus I had a very sick disabled husband coming home from the hospital the very next day and it was very important he have a bed that could be raised. The massagers that are on this bed are a total joke. I have never seen an adjustable bed that does not have actual massage motors, this bed has tiny cheap and I mean cheap pads sewn underneath this bed that is just like if you were to go buy one of those massage pads you plug in and place on the back of a chair for your back. You will feel nothing with the massage feature in this bed even on high speed. This bed has no wheels and if you have to put the bed in a tight place or against a couple of walls forget about moving it to change sheets. This bed has caused me hours of pain staking work and my husband is struggling very much without a working bed. Now I have to wait for a new delivery move all the furniture again and have my husband sit in a chair while I put the new one together. This is angering me so much. All our money has went to my husbands hospital care and all the other medical equipment we have had to purchase for his health so that is why we could not order the other brand of adjustable bed base. You get what you pay for. Oh and one of the legs would not screw in and you have to either hammer it or make the hole bigger in order to screw it in. I already paid the first delivery guys $20.00 to move it indoors I don't have another $20.00 to pay these next delivery guys. I hate this bed and the company that sent me a defective bed at a very crucial time in our lives, they have cost so much back breaking work for a older couple and hours upon hours of physical and mental stress to me. I really hate this bed but just have no choice because of finances. There is absolutely NO comparison to the high quality of a Leggett & Platt base verses this base. Also the remote is made as cheaply as the bed with no backlight for older people.
