For those of us who wish they could replace the built in stove with a built in aquarium, this tomato paste adds a dept of flavor to tomato dishes like tomato mac meatball casserole or tomato hamburger soup. Compared to tinned paste, I loved this. Since tomatoes are acidic, you can get a metallic taste to your paste when in a can, I don't care what 'professionsals' say, it's true. But not this stuff. It's very true to the tomatoes flavor and is very rich and sweet.

I hate to throw away tomato paste. You know how sometimes the recipe only calls for a tablespoon or two of tomato paste. This tubed paste solves that problem. Use as little or as much as you need. Put the cap back on and refrigerate until next time. The Double Concentrated Tomato Paste adds a wonderful depth of flavor to any dish. Because it is Double Concentrated you don't have to use alot to achieve added flavor.
