My Timex [ Expedition Sports ] timepiece is a true enduring watch that ( don't require cleaning ) of any way! This watch brand has done so well for me; I've gotten my [ 7th watch ]!
Great Timeless Collection from Timex

I remember my first digital watch was a Timex (and the commercial Timex takes a licking but keeps on ticking) and this expedition has not changed in 25 years. Great watch, awesome color scheme (sometimes hard to find in the camo pattern) and does the job. It is just a timeless piece!
I hope Timex never stops making these watches.

I'm impressed how long Timex has kept this design. I have been using these watches for so many years it's hard to count. It must be 20 years plus. In this day and age, it's impossible to find something that is kept original. Timex Rocks, the expedition has everything in one glance. Day, Date, Time and the Timer as well as the stopwatch that I use to cook with nearly every day. Keep it up Timex this is the only watch I will ever use.
I certainly didn't think I would be able to get another one because I've had this last one for so long.

Good velcro design!

I like watches that have the infinitely adjustable bands for the perfect fit. I've bought multiple velcro watches over the years, and they don't last forever, but there's some that have very good designs and some that have poor designs. Fortunately, this velcro design is excellent. If I was going to nitpick, I'd say I wish the strap was slightly longer and then end would stay in when putting on and removing the watch. I have an Apple Watch with the mini-velcro strap that does that and I love it, but it's also 10 times the price of this. For this one, I have to remove the velcro strap from the band to put it on and take it off, but it's otherwise great.
Great "Old Fashioned" digital watch

This is a well-constructed, light, multi-purpose digital watch. I depend on it:
1. Quicker to check time than a cell phone
2. I use the alarm function daily at home or on the road. Can set 3 different alarms.
3. The stopwatch is quite helpful for timing walks/rides/kids events, whatever
4. The timer is easy to set and use no matter where you are. Quicker and easier than a kitchen stove timer that you can't hear if you're doing something out of the kitchen, for instance
The settings are easy, reliable. The battery (Cr2016) lasts for a couple of years.
This is NOT a watch that tracks physical activity/physiological parameters. I had an Apple Watch that did that, but gave it away in part because when in use the charge lasted less than 24 hours so I had to recharge it at least once a day. It also had a bewildering number of apps that were of no use to me and were subject to sharing data..
I've had 3 iterations of this watch over the last 15-20 years. Great, functional watch.
My only complaint is that changing the battery is difficult and should probably be done by a jeweler. I've tried after watching YouTube videos and have changed the battery, but each time have lost some functionality of the watch--the last time I lost the alarm for instance...
