This is my second purchase of these cables. Have you ever been frustrated with power strips and surge suppressors trying to plug in plugs that are just to big or have what are called "wall warts" that take up the space of two or three plugins? Well, the ClearMax 3 prong splitter cable is the solution! They are only about one to one and a half feet in length and one end has a normal sized male plugin and the other end has two female plugs - also great for adding more products to the same power strip or surge suppressor. With the size of some of my plugins/wall warts, these power cables become a necessity. They are very well made and in fact I would consider them heavy duty. I really like them and think you will as well. They come in very handy at times. I stated this is my second purchase - since buying the first set, I have found a number of uses for them like: Need an extra outlet somewhere but the two outlets are taken, well this solves that problem.

These are great value. Don't know what is wrong with electric appliance manufacturers, but they clearly don't think through the use of their power bricks on regular power strips. However, these cheap extenders make it easy to plug everything in to a power strip without losing any outlets because the transformer is aligned the wrong way, or the body of it covers more than one outlet.

Perfect Solution for Plug Hoggers

These are perfect when you need to free up power outlets and you have large power plugs! I have a Battery Back-UPS and 3 outlets were covered because of the large transformer power plugs I had on some of my networking equipment. This saved me from needing to buy another UPS. Seems like they were made very well and durable. I plan to buy another 10 set for other surge protectors I have that have the same issue.
