I don’t know how to feel.....

I have a love hate relationship with this paint. The chipping is so unpredictable, but I knew that going in....I didn't know how frustrating it would be until I faced that myself. It's also so hard to MIX! I finally invested in an immersion blender, and while that was the best mixing tool for it, within 10-15 mins of painting, all of the paint mixture caked up at the bottom of my jar and Id have to mix it again....several times during use. After refrigeration, it's like mixing clay to get it back to a consistency...and by then there's basically no water left in it to even mix, which then triggers my OCD and I panic about how much water I need to add to get it back to the correct consistency 😳...I am overall pretty darn happy with how my projects turned out, but it cost me 2 FULL bags of this stuff because of how thin it is....takes SEVERAL coats in my experience. I have never used milk paint before this, but I have redone furniture for years....by far the hardest product Iv ever used....but the end result is gorgeous!!!
Love this brand of milk paint!

I have used this with success on both furniture and walls and in several colors. One caveat though - they say to mix it to the consistency of table cream 1:1 but I have found that to achieve this consistency, you need slightly less water than this. This particular color came out a fairly neutral gray on the walls I painted it with. Two coats achieved good coverage without using the bonding agent, though anyone using this should remember that it will be a streaky "antique" finish due to the nature of the product.
Better than expected

I've never painted furniture before and decided to do my dresser with chalk paint and this nightstand in milk paint. I didn't find it too finicky to use (I mixed it in a magic bullet blender and then shook vigorously for good measure). It took two-ish coats and dried nicely, after I waxed it the finish got just a tad uneven but I don't mind it. The color Arabesque is absolutely beautiful and exactly what I was hoping for. I saw on one of the Miss Mustard seed youtube videos that she recommends having something to stir the paint in the container AS you're painting it to keep pigments from settling at the bottom, and I found that helpful to keep the texture even. I bought the small pouch and it was juuuuust enough to do this nightstand, so if you have something bigger I wouldn't be conservative with the amount you purchase. Would buy again though!
I love the Schloss color

I love the Schloss color. I painted many items with this color, it gives everything a nice calm gray vintage look, exactly what I wanted. Dresser, mirror and small chair in picture have been painted with the schloss paint. I used the bonding agent with these as I did not want the chippy look. It was easy to mix. If I mix my paint in solo cups. If I make too much or if I am waiting between coats I take the solo cup of paint and put it a gallon size zip lock bag to keep it fresh. It can stay that way for a week or more. I heard you can also put it in the refrigerator, however I haven't needed to do that.
I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this paint

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this paint! Using a guide I found online, I painted an old head/footboard giving it the "distressed, shabby chic" look. This guide was great, however there were way too many steps AND I got very frustrated priming, waiting, painting, waiting, 2nd coat, waiting, distressing, WAITING, THEN the poly coat (which has now turned yellow). I only work on projects on the weekend so it took me way to long and about gave up. Needless to say, it did not turn out the way I really wanted........ugh just not for me. I read how easy, and awesome MMS milk paint was so I gave it a shot. ITS SO AWESOME!!! I gave the armiore im working on 2 QUICK coats and went to distressing. This paint is so easy to use and I am in love with the matte rustic look I getting with this color. I just recieved the MMS Tough Coat (dries matte) so I will be sharing my thoughts on that once I see how it goes today! I will definitely be trying the other colors once I am done with this armiore. :)
