These really did the trick!

I live in a rural northern area - lots of dark rainy winter nights and few outdoor lights. Tried replacing the old hazy tail light assemblies and bulbs with little improvement. Tried 6" 16W LED bracketed lamp - helped, but not much.
These really did the trick! The rings of side LEDs bounce off the tail light reflector for wide area coverage and the LEDs under the top lens focus directly behind the truck. Now much easier to see obstructions through rain-splattered mirrors and windows.
Do test operation before reinstalling your light assemblies. They do go in both ways and only one will be correct.

When I ordered these bulbs I figured I would probably just get another set of bulbs that I would probably end up returning. But to my surprise I was blown away by the intensity that these bulbs push out I have tinted windows in my vehicle and had a difficult time seeing through them when reverse lights were activated using the factory bulbs. It literally is like having a parking lot light behind you. Definitely worth the money. I will be purchasing these bulbsfor all my vehicles.

LUYED 2 X 1700 Lumens Extremely Bright, used in 2002 Ford Excursion for Reverse lights, I Could not be happier, well worth the extra cost, Lights both side of the vehicle extremely better. almost like having side lights too for backing up, they really flood, Not sure how long they last but I am super happy ! I dont do reviews, but peoples reviews help me so I figure I should start!
Brightest leds

Nice. These are the brightest 3157 style bulbs I've purchased so far. Working great for daytime running lights. Now, I'm going to have to replace my other leds with these. I hope they have headlight bulbs too... I haven't found any bright enough.

These LUYED 1700 Lumens LEDs are some of the brightest 3157 bulbs that I found. I'm using it for my DRLs and it really makes the car more visible from far away. If you're looking for another super bright LED, there is also the new crazy bright VLED High Output White 6 LED Back-up light, just released July 2017, but that one is a lot more expensive and only available in 3156 type.
Here is a picture I took comparing the LUYED 1700 to my previous LEDIN CREE-XRE based bulb. I figured the LEDIN would be just as bright since the LEDIN draws 14W, but it turns out the LUYED is much brighter (this is from a single photo, just edited to add the text arrows).
