Did not work at all! I think it actually attracted them and they bored into the squash rather than going for the trap. I am an organic grower but I cant watch my heirloom squash die again, next year I'm spraying BT

These traps work!! 2 traps caught nearly 3 dozen moths. But, I still had borers , even though I dusted the base of my vines with rotenone. And kept vigil for eggs. Good news is no major damage.
Traps eliminate moths but they also alert you to the peak of the hatch. Traffic around traps means you must be extra aware around the plants.

Never again will vine borers destroy my zucchini and pumpkin plants!!! I feel slightly terrible about the mass bug genocide that is occurring in my garden but lets be real here ---it's either the vine borers eat my plants or I do! I set up two around my garden and the amount of vine borers that I have captured is unreal. Every single one was going to lay their nasty little eggs and destroy my plants.
I can't recommend these enough! Get a few and put one in the garden and the rest around and just wait!
