Tough, durable, effective

I had some difficult hardened steel to drill through. It laughed at my other drill bits. The ¼" bit I needed from this set walked a bit, so I drilled a pilot hole with one of the thin bits. The smaller the bit, the greater the chance of breakage. Neither bit had any problem. Who's laughing now?

Went through hardened steel like a hot knife through butter.
Good bit. But not great for drilling hardened steel bolts. But not sure how to find harder bits.

Nice bits.
Became dull repetitively when used to drill out a hardened broken bolt. Got through it after 18 stops to sharpen the drill bit with a Drill Doctor 750x. Was hoping they were hard enough to drill out the bolt without so much sharpening.
Don't confuse inexpensive for cheap!

Awesome bits will go through most materials you'll find at home. I got them to go through metal and they got the job done with ease. Hardest bits on the market and you can pay a lot more for them if you like but why bother. Don't confuse inexpensive for cheap. These bits ain't cheap
Highly recommended.

I broke 3 drill bits from another set making 3 holes in cast iron. I bought these and drilled 6 holes in the same cast iron with 1 drill bit - and it's still sharp. Drill Hog is worth paying more for even if you don't do a lot of drill work. They simply last and do the job quickly. The case is also very solid and holds the set well.
