Installed this to the inside panels of a diesel genset. After 6-8 months and approximately 16 hours of runtime I noticed it was coming loose from the door panels. Panels were cleaned to the factory painted surface before applying sound deadening. For its thickness it performed well at sound deadening. Installation was easy as it cuts well using a combination of razor knife/straightedge and scissors.
