I found this brand when I first got my 4 legged son. I wanted the best food I could find because I believe you are what you eat. It is full of nutrition and fresh and without any fillers - we're talking quality and since he's the world to me, I just wanted to give him the best, despite the horrendous price! - should I take a start off for the price? - 1/2 a star perhaps, but the product is excellent. SO, most important point, I have been giving him this food since puppy and he's now 9 years old - that's right, I never moved him from this food, INSTEAD, I just started giving him less once he reached adult status. I mean, why change the food to an adult formula, when the adult formula all it is, is just a watered down version of this food?

I don't care what they say about puppy food vs adult food, I've read enough about to come to a personal conclusion that it's a way to make more money. I just give him less of puppy food, yet a GSD that is 9 years old and 100lb is no joke, yet he's all lean and muscle!

Also, he still loves it, eats it every day as excited as the first day he tried it. Has perfect, super shiny hair and a wet nose all the time, what else could one want?!

We started using Orijen Senior when my dog - a wire fox terrier - turned ten years old. He is 15 now and still doing great. We feed him this for breakfast everyday, and cook for his dinner. While this dog food is expensive, it is worth every penny. As you can tell from the photo, even with my dog's advanced age his fur still has vibrant colors. I previously had two other wire fox terriers years ago, was not feeding them Orijen (didn't even know about it at the time), and by the time they reached about 12 years old, they had lost all their colors and turned completely white/grey.
You will quickly notice the high quality whenever you open the bag, the food is still quite moist and fresh.
We did in the past give him other Orijen food, but have stuck with the senior since it seems to really help him maintain a healthy digestive system.

If you have an older dog, I implore you to feed them this excellent dog food!

My 2 yrs old boxer became bored from Royal Canine, as he was on it for a very long time, almost entire life. Don't get me wrong, Royal Canine is also very good food, but he got bored. After some research I decided to go with Orijen Original. I started with 50/50 old/new. Jesus Christ, he went crazy on it. I will have to reintroduce slow feeder :). Now, I don't know if it's because it's very high quality, stronger smell, more raw ingredients etc, or just because of the change. But you can smell freshness, strong smell, it feels like something between regular dry food and real food, or better to say the closest to the real food that you can come with dry food

I have been purchasing this dog food over the past year/year and a half ever since I got my dog. I absolutely love it!

She is a border collie/belgian malinois/staffy mix (super high energy) so finding really quality food that was not a raw diet was incredibly important to me since raw is not something sustainable that I can do. I spent hours researching and this was by far the most convenient option with the most amazing quality ingredients that I could find. I know it is pricey but the amount of food you get and the QUALITY is SO GOOD. I cannot stop raving about it and recommending it to other pet owners.

The fact that the majority of the ingredients are things that you can actually name and are things humans can eat is so amazing and so rare to find in mass produced dog foods. This food is not filled with fillers and I can feel and see the benefits it gives her. Also, her coat is definitely super super shiny and soft because of what is being put into her. Its also great to mix with toppers if your dog is a bit picky or wants some change. I also love to soak it in some chicken broth to give it some moisture so its easier for her to digest. Overall, I LOVE this food and cant wait to give other flavors a try!

I am pet sitting (1 month) for neighbors. The dogs are their 'babies' and very well taken care of. Orijen is their food of choice and the dogs love it. It seemed I was running short on food and decided to order a small bag 'just in case'. The delivery time is a bit lengthy, so hopefully it arrives before I empty out the original bag of food. Give the product a 5, but docked the delivery time a star for a rating of 4.
