I'm using a 6x6 net behind my target. It's stopped about 25 arrows so far. One arrow passed through the net and landed on the ground 15 yards behind the net, so do NOT trust this net to protect people or property. But my current ~25:1 ratio is great because it's saving expensive arrows from being lost and I don't have to spend time searching for arrows in the grass because they just collect against the net.
-1 star because it's not 100% guaranteed to stop an arrow, but I am very happy with it and I'm surprised that it works as well as it does. The arrow that passed through was shot from a small 20lb bow at 10 yards. It has stopped a dozen arrows from a 30 lb bow at 10 yards. No idea how effective it would be against heavier draw weights.
I got a ~$35 photography backdrop stand set to use for hanging the net up which works a treat.

Effective for 50# recurve with field tips

50# recurve with field tips outdoor shooting at 15+ yards. Hung the curtain loosely on a frame 8' wide by the grommets so there's 2' of slack in the curtain. Nothing holding sides or bottom. Stops all arrows. Nothing penetrates. Occasionally one will hang from the curtain -- maybe just the very tip of the arrow head gets stuck in the threading.

I've only tried this product a few times but it easily stopped field tipped arrows from an adult compound bow. I bought this product to replace one of the same size that was half the price... don't waste your time/money on something cheaper, my arrows from a youth re-curve went right through!

Very nice product. I ordered the 6'x6' which weighs about 10lbs or so, and I was able to hang it up in the basement with a shower tension rod. There are 3 small grommets on all sides which is still big enough for me to put shower rings through them. I used a little grip tape on the shower rings to keep the net steady on the rod.
This thing is designed for field points and stops them best, so don't use anything else (especially not broadheads). Also very important, DO NOT taut this net. It's meant to be loose to absorb the energy of the arrow. That was my mistaken when I first got the net, and I shot a blunt bludgeon broadhead right through the net and into my wall....
I'm shooting a 50lbs recurve and a 55lbs compound bow at this net from 4 yards away and haven't had any issues since.

So I ordered a 6'x6' net. What arrived was roughly measured as an 11'x19' net. Not sure what to do now but I guess I will use it. Seems like it will work well. I will update the review after it takes some arrows to see how it performs.
