So much better than a gas trimmer with a attachment, no fumes , noise. Its not light but lighter than a weedeater with a trimmer attachment . Cuts great and a good reach. Battery life is very good and recharges fast. Remember to use a light oil spray on the cutting blades ( not WD40) Like it so well I bought the weed trimmer too. I would give it 5 stars except for the weight

With the help of the extension (sold and shipped seperately) you can cut those hard to reach branches, It's has a little bit of weight to the unit especially with the extension, but they included a strap which helps alot.

This works well enough and is powerful. Battery maintains charge through all of the trimming. There are a couple of things that would make it better: 1. the trimmer head does not have a 90 degree angle which would make trimming a tall hedge much easier 2. it is very heavy - maybe a cushioned shoulder strap to balance the weight would be very helpful. I would look for something else when it needs replacing that could do what it does plus the two others I noted.

This company makes really good products. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with this one for two reasons. Reason one, it has no lock button, so you always have to use it by holding it by the handle with your finger on the trigger. Reason to, this makes trimming Fatiguing due to the weight. I ended up buying a different model from the same company.
