I have had these on the new 5x7 rug on a laminate floor, and so far (three days) the dogs have not moved it from where I put it. I have tried another brand before that didn't work this well, I like that this don't raise up the corners very much, at least not as much as the other brand did. I recommend these if you have running dogs that move the carpets whenever they run across them.

I have previously tried the rubbery net type cloth you put underneath rugs, and it didn't work at all. Total waste of money and time, but this seems to be working great! (had it about a month) I have several dogs who love to chase each other and mess up my rugs continually. I only have the gripper on one corner and they are still staying really well, although 2 corners on the longer or larger rugs will be much better. The only thing I don't know is if I lift it to clean, or after it is stuck for a long time, will the finish on my wood floors be messed up. However, I intend to always have a rug in these spots, so in the long run, I still prefer to have these grippers and not have my rugs messed up all the time, even if the finish is marred after time.

These rug grippers are amazing! I used it for the first time yesterday and was really surprised at the quality and how well they work. You peel off the paper on one side and it sticks to the rug. On the other side, you peel off the paper and underneath it, there are silicon strips that grip to the floor. I was moving around a table on top of the rug and it didn't budge. I ended up ordering another 8 pack for another rug I ordered for the bedroom. Very happy with my purchase and can't wait to see if it'll continue to work even after time passes. I highly recommend them and would recommend to friends and family.

Awesome product. Our small bathroom rugs kept sliding around every time you'd step on them and I was always afraid I was going to bite it and hit my head. These took a few minutes to install and now the rugs stay put. I used rubbing alcohol on the floor, and white sticky side as they suggested. I'm going to order more for our other rugs now that I know they work.

In theory, it sounds good and I had high hope, but in reality, both husband and I almost still slip twice (like the stick figure on the package). Corner still slides around and still need to get carpet tape to secure the long sides (all 4). I wish there is a longer version of this that can secure the center part and all sides of the rug. Area rug is not heavy enough for this to work.
