After an initial reaction from Chevy, my 4-month old kitten, of "What the heck is that thing?" this is now his favorite toy. The little green ball didn't last long, but he loves swatting the other dangling toys and spends a lot of time here. A nice "tiring out" tool in the toy box for active kitties.

This is a really cute play mat for very young kittens. It is visually pleasing for their humans too! It comes in a nice zip close bag if you want to put it away but I stapled it to a finished piece of wood to keep it stable. The kitten is just starting to explore it but I think he will make good use of it when he gets a little bigger. ðŸ±

Amazon says it's on its way but it arrived last week! lol within 10 minutes out of the package he was all over it and had been playing with it ever since. I hope it tires him out so he doesn't wake me at 3 AM every morning. Cool cat toy. reminds me of a toy for infant development.

I got this for my sister who has an active and very curious cat. The cat loves playing with this toy! She particularly enjoys the sound-making toys. The material on this mat is soft, faux velvet. The arches are not super strong, but it's a cat toy, not a child's play mat so it's not as important. I like that there is the option of adding your own toys if you like. It also folds up flat and can be carried in it's bag. It slides very well under a bed when not in use.

I've ordered from various suppliers throughout the years off of Amazon and I've never felt the need to write a review. However, with this order, I decided to be different. I would say that my cats enjoy playing with the mat or the toys or that the item is true to description. However, I can say neither because I had to throw it in the trash as soon as I opened it. Why? Because the package had extra goodies in it, namely bugs. That's rights, bugs. In the bag, outside the bag. On the mat as well. I threw it immediately in the garbage and have no desire to order from this company again. I've never had a problem with any other item I have ordered and its a real shame. It looked like something my cats would enjoy but... The only positive notes are that the bugs themselves were dead and they were not the worst bugs to have (you know which ones I refer to). Other than that, I have no positive things to say about this product or the company. Order at your own risk....and have a garbage bag ready. (Unbelievably, I have to rate this at least a star for it to post.)
