This is a great little advent calendar. While it is lightweight, more c&c type product, I'm thrilled with this purchase.
It's surprisingly challenging to find advent calendars that depict The Messiah and what we are actually celebrating in the waiting! I love the little lights in the back and the drawers work perfectly well. It's light and easy to pack away for the next year. Simple and sweet and perfect. Would recommend!

Great nativity advent calendar! It is typically hard to find a nativity themed advent - almost all have santa's workshop or flying reindeer! This one is perfect as we countdown to the real meaning of Christmas. It is going to be a great family tradition with my two boys. The only reason I am leaving off a star is that a couple drawers are not straight. As a perfectionist, this bothers me, but most people may not notice. Hoping I can repair them so they are symmetrical :) Otherwise well made and the lighting feature really adds a unique touch.

Beautiful, unique advent calendar! Overall, I highly recommend it. There are a couple of small issues. First, a couple of the led back-lights are directly visible, creating bright spots when looking at the nativity scene, rather than the soft glow they were aiming for. Second, there is no way to mark the current day the calendar is on (unless you leave drawers open, creating an eye sore). We fixed this by purchasing a Christmas wine charm and hanging that on the current day.

This is even better than I expected! Lovely detail, amazing value and well made. I also bought the Village advent calendar (that one is even better!). I can't wait to see the expressions on my nieces' faces when presented to them after the Thanksgiving dinner. Will no doubt be an heirloom. I'm going to the Dollar Store today to find some stickers, jewelry, candy and more to put in the drawers (they're tiny so I'll have to get creative) along with some quotes and "to do's" on different days. FYI, I bought some extra long clear rubber bands (via Amazon ;-) ) to place around each row of drawers so I can transport the "calendar" so that the drawers don't open.

We loved the wooden design. I gave this to my college age son. The two rows of boxes under the nativity are super small. You can barely fit anything in it including just a Hershey kiss. That was the big disappointing part of it. I have to say it overpriced for the quality of the item as well. I just loved that it was not a Santa themed one and was about Christ instead.
