I bought this for a cutting board project I was doing with a routed logo. I didn't want there to be any crevices so I bought this FDA compliant product. I guess in a few years I'll update as to whether that's ok. The seller also sent a pair of gloves, chopsticks for mixing and a few mixing vessels with the two parts which was pretty damn thoughtful. The only reason I'm docking one star is the stuff takes a real long time to set up and I am not a patient woman.

This stuff is great, it is quite a lot of epoxy for the price, yeah it's expensive but remember; it's food safe. If you have any doubt about the finish your putting on a product that will go to friends, family or consumer; the piece of mind is worth the extra 29 bucks for a legit product. So the reason for the four stars is that it has a low viscosity, it will take a few coats with sanding in between to ensure smooth finishes if your product isn't a flat piece. I used mine on a wooden beer mug, it doesn't leak, I can wash it and I know I'm not going to die from some other type of epoxy I could of used to save a few bucks.
