We used this to go pick up our pomsky in Arizona for first time. The side pockets can hold quite a bit and the many doors and openings were super helpful to use!! Our puppy loveddd this bag and he would come with me everyday to work in it and it was his happy place (he often used it as his bed). Before picking up our dog, I read some reviews on here talking about a new/factory smell the bag had so I just set it up and let it air out for a few weeks prior, whenever i made soup or meat etc I would put a bowl in the bag to cool off and let the steam hopefully make the bag smell less plastic-like as it was quite a strong smell. I love that the liner was washable, we used that function many times, and our dog loved to poke his head out of the little window. It is also very compact I had it come with us on multiple flights with our dog and it easily fit under all the planes I was on. We used it everyday so the wear and tear on it was pretty significant, after having it 6 months (and using daily) the plastic support poles that hold the top of the bags shape started to poke out of the bag, my grandmother repaired it several times so we continued to use it. Our pup grew just a little bit too big for it and shortly after someone broke the zip when they were opening it but this is literally after the bag had been across the country, used everyday and carrying a dog almost at maximum weight. Now we have a sherpa bag but its just so bulky in comparison to this bag! I would highly recommend! Our dog fit in this up til he was about 14 lbs or so, he is now 17 lbs. It certainly helped make our trip a little more relaxing.The bag is also SUPER cute!!!

Received today and so much better than expected. The seller was so courteous that I knew I was making a good decision buying from him. The carrier is so well made I was amazed. Just playing with it and trying each feature is fun and the details that were included is beyond what I expected from this price range. The info online cannot explain the quality of this.

The mesh is coated with some sort of rubbery feeling material. I thought it would be like window screen but it's even nicer and feels cool. There's metal buckle clasps on every zipper except the small one on the side. The roll up cover on top has magnetic button for closure and stays rolled up by another magnetic button. The front section has 2 zippered openings.... the larger one i assume is if your animal is bigger. The carrier keeps its shape if that is zippered shut otherwise you open the smaller one for entrance and exit while keeping its shape. Back entrance area has a mesh pocket... good for storing the shoulder strap when not in use and there is a reflective strip for visibility at night! Wow.... wasn't expecting that! Love the small buckle straps near the small mesh window for securing in the car..... nice feature I didn't think I'd ever need until realizing how useful that is so my cat stays put in the car.

The outside material is canvas. Inside is like a waterproof material for easy cleaning. The faux sherpa mat has a bit of memory foam and has a waterproof board that slides out so it doesn't get soaked if wet and the mat can be washed. Velcro secures it down. There is a metal loop inside to attach a harness.

Shoulder straps are adjustable and have a padded piece for comfort. The clips rotate so you can adjust easily without getting them twisted.

I chose charcoal grey..... the color is nice. I was debating what color I liked best but in the end I chose to go neutral bc I have a female and male cat and the color looks sophisticated.

I'm just using this for vet visits. I have a hard time carrying a big plastic carrier by myself.I'm also a neat fanatic and wanted something I could store easily without taking up lots of space. My male cat is so big. I didn't put him in this yet but I am hoping he will fit. My female fits and looked comfy in there. She's significantly smaller than him. I am not expecting him to fit.... he's bigger than some dogs lol. I might need to just put a leash on him.... kidding of course!

I am sad about this bag. I LOVE the color. Love the material. Love the zippers and windows it was exactly what I was looking for. However, I used it literally for the first time and it broke. The plastic piping inside the top that creates the form popped out and they just poked into the crate. This is a bummer. Otherwise my dog liked it and looked so cute. I'm thinking I may have to return it and buy a different one in better quality.

Really like this bag - also great customer support. Giving it 5 stars even though I have a few suggestions for improvements.
The size of the bag can be compared to that of a medium Sherpa bag. Good size for travelling. Great size for a "normal" size cat (check your cat's weight it should NOT exceed 13 pounds).
Platinum gray is a great colour - I thought it might be a bit too light but the colour is perfect.
Easy to assemble. The mat feels comfy and doesn't crumble as much as other, "sheep wool look", type. The Platinum Gray, and Charcoal Ash as well, now feature SEATBELT attachment clips, a recent improvement on the bag.
I really like that "air" comes in all around, from the TOP (you can roll back the fabric where a magnetic snap will keep it in place), and all sides.
You can carry the bag using the handles or the shoulder straps.
There is an ID tag sewn into the bag on one side. You can insert an info card from the right side of it.
The zippers lock in the closed position.
You can access your pet from the top, both extremities, and even from a small half circle opening on one side.
It has TWO pockets:
First pocket at one extremity, full width but half the height (would have liked a larger pocket, full height of the bag)
Second pocket, smaller, just below small half circle opening on one side.
BOTH pockets are "open" pockets, that is they do not close with a zipper, velcro or snap. I do not like this - even if the openings are at the top and seem to stay closed, I fear small objects could escape/fall out.
As far as the shape/structure is concerned, it is a very nice bag and it stands well except maybe for a little sagging at the top near the extremities. The rods on both sides of the opening on top of the bag do not reach the extremities. They stop at the yellow cord leaving almost 2 inches unsupported at each end.
Here are 3 suggestions for future improvements
A- the structure:
- make the rods longer at the top, so they reach closer to the zippers.
B- the pockets:
- make the pocket at the extremity bigger (give that pocket the FULL HEIGHT of the bag, not1/2 the height as it is now)
- close both pockets so that what gets put inside be more secure & worry free.
It might be ok for the smaller pocket to close with the help of 1 or 2 magnetic snaps/clips, or some velcro (?) or a zipper.
For the larger pocket at the extremity I would strongly recommend closing it with a zipper.

When I opened the bag and put it on the floor, my Abyssinian went in right away and had a little nap. He looked pretty comfy... Thanks Mr. Peanut's. Looking forward to the improvements... (?)

This carrier was a life-saver for my picky cat who HATED the hard plastic case when going to the vet. He wasn't thrilled about this one either, but having all the areas to open zippers and give him love and all the open sides really made it a tiny bit more pleasant for him. The top loading part was nice too. My 13 pound cat was just right for sizing. If you have a big cat, this might not give them too much room to move around inside. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase, lots of options for how to put your pet in it and what to leave open and closed.
