I wanted this for my mother who is 83 ,so we could make is so her phone attached to it. I am very well pleased with this earphone and how it has helped my mother to be able to hear some sounds better. Would I recommend this product to other people? Yes I would including friends and family..I absolutely think this is great product. In honesty I'm am not greatly familiar with all uses for this. I purchased it for my son and his science projects. The quality was really good. The wires were thicker than expected and it was packaged so nicely as not to get any damaged in shipping. I can really appreciate the higher quality as I'm always buying some part or piece or whatever for my son. It's nice to see something last more than one use!
