Good for decoration only. The lever broke off instantly, and it won't hold zero.

**5/23/18 UPDATE: So the latch for the locking clamp broke. I didn't even use it more than 5 times and I wasn't intentionally testing its strength, just normal use! The latch is made of some zinc/alloy/cast metal! Ugghh, I am not buying copies any more. **

I purchased this for my PSL/Romak III DMR rifle and it definitely looks the part and while it seems to be of decent built, let me go into the details after today's rifle range report.

First the issues: Mounting was a pain and while I understand the castle nut and tension spring mechanism on the mount, you need to use the 2 tools (a turning plate tool and a push wedge tool) which the instructions did not explain. Furthermore, there's no Youtube video online about this!
The instructions were generic with super tiny print that did not mention its usage. Additionally, the scope's turret numbering does match anything that's found out there online (elevation goes to #28 but I can't find any documentation referring to the logic behind this). Also, the 2 outside silver screws are supposed to be loosened when dialing it into a zeroed position but I can not get this to work as it turns the whole dial and I think it will just re-calibrate if I turn it when I don't want it to). I also get a tiny side to side motion which I may have to use the 2nd provided mounting plate. I also can't tell what each click adjusts (? MIL or .25 MOA) and the clicks are sometimes non-present whereas other times it is discernible. So the adjustments are to point-of-impact (POI) which we westerners understand but every documentation I've read on these PSO/POSP/LPS scopes say that the adjustments are to point-of-aim (POA); This part threw me off when I was zero-ing the rifle today which I finally got done after 9 rounds.

Positively though, this scope looks the part and is half the price of Kalinka's optics and other similar/real ones. This brand, while a knock-off, could have done a better job copying it and this is a case of getting what you pay for. Other good thing is that it comes with 2 mounting plates which has about 1/2 inch height difference (both clear/are high enough to use BUIS) between the two. Nice to have two as back up in case one mount gets worn out over long-term use. Another plus is the scope advertises as 5 year warranty, better than most out there! I don't mind it for now and will update the review down the road as I use it more to go over its longevity, etc. Will try my 200 yd range (today's was 50 & 100 yd) the next time...

Get what you pay for: looks the deal, holds a zero shooting 7.62x54R, second focal plane and the mount stinks (order better one and swap it over). But for the price, you can't beat it.

In the description it states Fit Dragunov and AK Series with Side Mount Rail i have 3 AK rifle and this scope will not fit on any of the rifles i have a WASER 12 a WASER 10 and a RAS47 and this scope will not fit any of the AK side rail but the scope in all look great idk about how it preforms and would love to fine out but alwell

This is WAY better than the 4x junk that my Romanian PSL came with.
