They really protect your patio surface from scratches and make the furniture easy to move as well. The glides I put in a couple of years ago were still fine but since I just refinished the patio I'm putting in new glides. Minimal effort, very affordable and great results.
Installation can be tricky

The product seems sturdy and durable, but the installation in my metal chairs was not easy at first. The fit is so tight that getting it to align was difficult. I ended up slightly beveling the outside edge of the slider. I used a bench grinder, but other solutions may work. Once the beveled edge was just below the edge of the chair mounting hole, a solid tap with a rubber mallet seated the slider.

These caps/glide replacements met the need. So far, a few months of use, they are holding up well. I strongly recommend if you use these, first clean out the old furniture feet and remove any old glide plastic. You will need a rubber hammer to help install the caps. I would have never got them to go in without the rubber hammer. Once in, they are secure and work great. I would recommend these caps to someone needing new glides for wrought iron furniture.
