Best Chicken Carrier Ever.

Awesome carrier. Lightweight, easy to put together, super convenient. I use this for my chickens and it's Perfect. I can unzip the top and lay one in here and she's super comfortable on the drive to the vet. The front mesh allows her to see out and the side venting keeps the air flowing. I use an old towel on top of the base for added comfort and it's just the right amount of cushion.
This is such a great carrier for the price and because it's not wire, I never worry about one of the girls getting hurt in transport.
Overall, it's an excellent purchase and I bet would be great for toy sized dogs, bunnies, cats, etc. everyone at the vet constantly comments on how great it is and I love it because it's not awkward to carry. 5 stars. No question.

Perfectly priced, front- or top-opening carrier

This is a great product. Affordable, easy to put together and take apart [you just have to be good at attaching zippers :)], so it stores very compactly. It's essentially a flexible, sturdy tube, and you zip on both a lid and bottom. Good size for my 12-pound cat -- roomy, with lots of air through the holes on the side. Very sturdy since she'll occasionally try to claw through the front mesh opening. You absolutely can put the cat in through the top instead of the front. You just unzip the top zipper about 85% around (don't go so far that the top detaches), and then be quick once the cat is in to zip it back around. It's the only way I can get my carrier-phobic cat in. I slide a shoulder seat belt through the top loop, and everything is pretty well secured. Easy to slide in some treats through the side holes once she's in. Now I just need to figure out how to get her to like being in the car more.
Carrying Cats

I have a cat that hates going to the vet. So much so, that I have to completely dismantle the pet carrier to get her out of it and reverse the process to get her back in, unless the carrier is sitting on the floor at home, then she loves to lay in it and walk in and out of it, but I think she's doing that thing that looks alot like a middle finger, but it's a cat, and we all know they don't have the dexterity to pull that off. So, this purchase was my solution. Well constructed, stores easily and although we haven't made a trip to the vet yet, to give it a final test, I don't imagine I'll have half the problems getting her out.

Really nice and I know my cat will like it. My old carrier was shaped rectangular and my cat couldn't curl up in it. It also had metal bars for the door which I think after being in a shelter cage before I rescued her the metal bars remind her of that experience. She hated the old carrier. This new one is lightweight too.

I got this for my 13 pound cat, and it works well for her. My vet had advised me to get a top loading carrier so my cat could stay inside during exams, without the trauma of feeling exposed in an unfamiliar room. This carrier appears well made, is lightweight and totally collapses for storage. It's a clever design and I'm glad I ordered it.
