Nice Lancet Device

Really Nice Lancet Device adds class to a less than pleasant procedure.
Two small issues though you can adjust to them and they become not so bad.

First issue to adjust the depth of the strike you have to counter turn a threaded collar but every time you replace the lancet you loose the depth setting.

Second issue the cup that seats the Lancet is not sufficiently deep enough and the lancet gets cocked at an angle and can and does on occasion hang up but tapping the pen seems to release it.

I like the ability to do immediate multiple lancing it clicks just like a ballpoint pen.
Overall its a nice, hefty, and a comfortable feel it seems well made and sturdy.

But time will tell all.
it worth your money.

There is a Korean trained background teacher teach a Traditional Chinese Medicine therapy like acupuncture needle with The 4 head online, and using a special cup to collect blood underneath the specific area of points. Treating all kinds of different diseases western medicine unable to solve. It says it is popular in Korea and will be in China, too. I willI will be very happy if that will work. Need a lot of training though. Thanks for asking.
Big improvement over the plastic ones

I've been checking my sugar levels for about 15 years and I've had this for a few weeks now since my last plastic one stopped holding lancets after wearing out. This one has a good metal heft and delivers the lancet with more of a 'thud' than a 'prick' so is less painful. I think it will last a long time before wearing out.

Pros:
Durable metal heft
Less painful than other devices
Price point

Cons:
It's not very intuitive for setting the depth with the knurled screw in the middle and would be good if there were some kind of indicator to let you know you have a consistent setting with the number of threads exposed.
It doesn't have a lancet release mechanism so you need to pull it out directly rather than using a release push mechanism like most others.
Excellent Lancing device!

I received this lancet device today, loaded it with a lancet and shot my finger (as you do). As others have noted, in the default position it goes way too deep. Hopefully I can describe what needs to be done.

When you unscrew the pin cover to load the lancet, the gold-coloured nut is usually tight against the barrel of the "pen". The trick is to unscrew this nut a couple of turns, and THEN tighten the pin cover against the nut, holding the nut firmly.

Now, when you trigger the device, hold it up to the light with the plunger pressed and you will see how much of the needle is exposed. if it's still too much, then simply unlock the cover, and screw the gold nut out a little more and then lock it down again by holding the nut and tightening the pin cover against it. If it's not enough, then turn the nut clockwise and try again - it's easy to get it just right and consistent.

Works a treat and is way nicer than those horribly plastic things. Hope this helps!
