These slip on and off easily, the rubber is relatively soft and stretches with minimal effort. This works well for me (I'm in my 70's). I would imagine this feature could be an issue in deep snow but my primary use is for clearing a sloped driveway of snow. The cleats are long enough to bite well into the packed snow and ice. Great for "Geezers" like me!

Thank you for these well-made traction cleats. I wear a womens size 9 shoe (9.5 hiking/running shoes) and ordered the womens size large (9.5-11.5). The cleats fit comfortably on my bulky Kamik winter snow boots, as well as my hiking/runing shoes. I expect to use them when shoveling snow, especially if my driveway is icy. A cross-instep strap to keep the cleats from shifting would be my only recommendation.

Seem like they will work well and be comfortable to walk in on ice. Unfortunately I wear a size 9 and ordered the medium so they would fit snuggly on my boots but they were too small. They were so tight on the back of one of my boots it started to cave in the heel (see pic). The cleats were way up near the arch of my foot. Will be returning for a large. Otherwise they seem like they will work great, be comfy to wear and easy to clean.

These work well for walking on snow & ice. I walk every morning with neighbors & these help us to stay on our feet. They do wear down &/or the yellow discs fall off after a whole winter season so have to replace annually.
