I had the Philps before this one, and I like this Oral-B more.

Pros

#1 The brush head is much more affordable, it is like 5bucks each but the Philips almost cost like 10bucks each.
#2 I share this with my wife, we just swap the brush head, so even with this price, it is not that expensive for 2 people, with the docking that can store 4 heads, it is really good.

Bad

#1 the smartphone app is a joke, it uses the camera to locate where you brush... so I will have to face my phone when I am brushing my teeth, I thought it would track where I brush without facing my smartphone so I can check how well I do each time, I no longer using the app after 1-2days.

I definitely am in love with this toothbrush, I get such an efficient clean it feels like I just had my teeth cleaned professionally. Lots of different speeds with a vibrating reminder to switch to the next section so you don't spend too much time on a certain area.

You can even sync it with your smartphone via Bluetooth & the Oral-B app is free to download. The app marks your brushing time, how many times you brushed per day, how long you brushed and how hard you brush your teeth. It also will alert you when your brush head needs to be replaced.

Overall great toothbrush but if you aren't going to use the Bluetooth option (which I don't see as a necessity) I would purchase one of the lower grade options as this model is a bit pricey.

This futuristic toothbrush it's amazing! We just brushed our teeth for the first time with this device a d are blown away. We feel like we've just came from the dental office.

I always do quite extensive research before purchasing electric devices and didn't skimp on reading studies.

I will never go back to old school toothbrushes again, it's 2017 people. This is an investment that will pay itself off in no time, because we know how expensive dental insurance or a dentist office visit can be.

This will cost you roughly $12 per month for 12 months. It comes with 3 different brush heads that will last you for 3 months each. Do your health a favor and get one.

I only wish this model would come with two brushes as the 8900 model.

Tried this toothbrush at my dentist's office after I had sensitivity from my gums receding. While using a regular soft toothbrush, I felt sharp pain even when brushing gently but with this toothbrush set on the sensitive setting (the feather icon), I felt no pain whatsoever! Also, the lighted ring turns red and the brush slow down if it senses you are using too much pressure.

Sync this with the app and it uses facial recognition to be sure you are spending the right amount of time on the different sections of your mouth. It's not something I bother with every time I brush but I use it when I have a little extra time.

My favorite part is the smart travel case. You won't regret purchasing this because after you are done, you feel as if you just stepped out the dentist's office.

This is a major upgrade from my old Oral-B Triumph 3000 in which the battery had seen better days.
While the Pro 8000 does an incredible job at getting the teeth clean it is noticably more noisier. It is just as easy to use as the Triumph 3000, but the battery life between charging is great.
I can live without the Bluetooth or the app function. Some users may dig it, but it is not for me. This is something not worth dropping to a four star rating. Pro 8000 hold its own and is a solid electric toothbrush.
