Perfect for 85 pound German Shepherd

My 85 pound German Shepherd dog is prone to seizures and has torn a tendon in his back leg. This has helped keep his injury snug and fit so he feels less pain and can pick himself up off the ground better when he's feeling weak. We got a dog lift harness to go with it and it's worked wonders for him when he needs some additional support.

Everything about this is great except I wish they were manufactured in smaller sizes. I have a Pom (13 lbs) that has luxating patellas that are especially problematic when there's snow on the ground. I have a size small but it's too big for him.

I'm sorry, but there is zero additional support to an 80 lb dog. Maybe for a little guy, but this thing is just some 1/8" foam with velcro straps. I can wrap it around my index finger and bend it with ease.

Thank you for this wonderful product. I swear my dog Willard was smiling last night when he realized he could walk across the room. He was so crippled in his left rear leg and a friend said a splint might help. Well, I'd never thought of that and the vet had suggested it either. Anyway I ordered the Labra hock brace in extra large for next day delivery and am so glad I did. It was easy to adjust. I just ordered another for the right hind leg as it's also a bit weak.
