Noisier than I expected

Had this amp for about 2 months now and no problems so far. A few minor complaints; the description says 3 speed fan to keep it cool, the fan is fairly loud when no music is playing and in a small quiet room(obviously not the intended use for the amp so not a drawback), and also every half hourish a loud pop comes out of my speakers. I attribute this to the fact that it is plugged into a full power strip and the instructions say to plug directly into a wall outlet. Other than that, great amp for the price
