Have been using for a week, 2x daily and seems to be working well, but with such a small bottle, it is almost out and I am only using it on 2 recliners.

Didn't know what to expect, but so far so good, Time will really tell. I purchased a new carpet for my kitchen and I have two Persians the one proceeded to check it out by having a nap on it. Then after leaving the other cat came over and scratched up the spot where the other had lain, (claiming it her territory) Fact is she tore out the loops in the carpet. She scratches several spots around the area before I received the product. Since spraying the rug there has been no incidents. Again, time will tell

I don't leave reviews, usually ever. But, I took a chance on this and it worked....for a period of time. The price for a small bottle seems a little bit much! Since, it take A LOT, over time, to make them stop scratching. Consistency is key. My cats do a lot of their scratching at night. I spray the furniture before bed. I still hear some scratching, but if I OVER SPRAY - the smell takes in the whole house. The cats then end up hiding under our bed. That's not the effect I was going for. Yes, it "works", but you need to be consistent which means continuing to purchase the spray....

For $13 bucks you would think you would get a bigger bottle. I sprayed my couch in 5 different places. Probably about 20 Squirts total and half the bottle is gone already! Smells good, but the next day I barely smell anything:( Would not buy again. I'm not going to have enough product to test on my couch for a more than a few days so I will have no idea if it works or not since my cats occasionally scratch.
UPDATE: Sorry! I was wrong....after months using this tiny bottle and having it not only last all this time but also training our cats to not scratch I am so thankful for it. We were ready to send out cats to be declawed we were so frustrated....one cat would eat that special tape meant to stop them! But this spray last and last and works...we have multiple rooms and furniture we use it on and it's the best thing I ever bought for our cats...now they are happy and got to keep their claws! I use it all the time whenever we get new furniture and it just never runs out...so weird..but fantastic! When I do run out I will definitely buy it again! I highly recommend it now:)

I agree with other reviewers that this smells like you are spraying citronella on your furniture. I rated it only 4 stars as it does really keep my cats from scratching the furniture, but only while the smell is still strong. They go back to scratching the furniture after it fades, so you really need to reapply it to be consistent. The smell isn't that bad, but it's also not great. It does keep them away though, which is I guess is the point. One thing I will give it though is that I tried double-sided tape before, and the cats just learned to scratch around it. Plus, it was a pain and looked ridiculous with all the tape all over the place. Also not a permanent solution. At least this can cover a large area to where they just stay away completely.
