Really discourages chewing but you have to re-apply often

This product discourages chewing pretty effectively. I use it to keep my puppy from chewing on our area rugs, welcome mat and wooden legs on furniture. It works immediately but I do have to re-apply every day or every other day. I am noticing that the puppy is chewing these things less and less so maybe she's learning. Overall, I am pleased with this product.

The best example is a mat my dog really tore up one day. I had sprayed it lightly beforehand, but really sprayed it heavily after that for a couple days. She hasn't chewed the mat since. Being a 14 week old puppy, my dog chews a lot of things. This spray is effective for a while, but will wear off. Luckily it seems my dog learned not to chew the mat I mentioned before. She also tried to chew a gate I bought for the house, but after a few times with this spray, it seems to have stopped her. So I would say the spray is pretty effective, but not a panacea for all chewing issues and may need to be allowed liberally a few times to be effective.
